Got up pretty late : 7:15. Hahaha, which was supposed to be my “departure” time knowing that I have a 9 am class. But I took my time and ended up leaving the house by 8 am. Hahaha XD I thought I was soooo late , but yeah, forgot that it was a Saturday and that not much traffic in the morning anyway. Hehe

 I had this weird dream by the way. XD It freaking seemed so real. I was not even thinking of the person for the longest time and then that person just pops into my dream like that?!?! And geez, I need a DREAM INTERPRETER like NOW. Hahahaha XD I am now OFFICIALLY DISTURBED by this. “IT” may not ( read: NEVER ) happen in the future but still, I need to know.

 Got so sleepy after like 2 hours of my THREE HOUR polsci class and I wasn’t even able to write my notes properly. Zzzzzzzz….The class was not boring though, it’s the subject itself probably and the TIME!! Three freaking hours with only 15 minutes break time. T____T Deadz. Deadz. Deadz.

Attended the thesis defense thing just to see how the defense would flow and stuff. Gawd. I was stuttering even though it was not our group who reported. @_@ Unbelievable. I don’t even know if our group could pull it off. Too many revisions and stuff. It’s like WE WILL NEVER BE RIGHT. ARGH ARGH ARGH.

 Went to trinoma and watched NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS with Sam, Ralph and Karl!! Wee~ We spent like an hour deciding what to watch and we almost scrapped the idea of even watching a movie. I said, i wanted to watch Sweeney Todd ( Again, i know! ) but then that would be soo KJ because i already watched it XD. Then i told them that i wanted P.S. I love you, but Ralph R retaliated and said:

 ” SHET! Si Leonidas makikita ko sa LOVE STORY?!?! Ayokong madungisan ang image niya dun sa 300!!!” 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Sorry. XD

 Talked to Karl about some “things” . ( the two RAPLHs went to buy other “boy” stuff and me and karl just stayed at the rooftop to talk. LOL ) Rawr we got so EMO ( errr, I got EMO ) probably because it was already night time and the venue was EMO. Damn it. Geez, i don’t want to pursue my “plan” anymore. I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO DO IT.   Help….. 

Amazing movie, it didn’t suck. I just hoped that they didn’t stick with that “traditional” notion when it comes to “TREASURE”. I mean like equating TREASURE = GOLD. XD There are sooo many other treasures anyway, why GOLD? 

Hahaha But oh well, traditional treasure hunters. I LOVE RILEY ( err, i mean JUSTIN BARTHA )!!!! Freaking best character right there!!! Just the right mix of stupidity with hotness. Hahahaha RANDOM, I KNOW. 

We were supposed to watch the movie yesterday but since my dad and my little brother were sick , they said that we will just watch the movie today.

Had a great great lunch in our house because we had SQUID and “Labong” ( that’s baby bamboo shoots to you! )!!! You see, i’m a sucker for anything seafood especially squid! YUMMINESS!! For the “labong”, its probably my favorite veggie! Teehee. Because i was sooo bored and i got excited with all the foo –> I took freaking pictures of them. hahaha

After eating lunch and dressing up, my dad drove us to SM North EDSA THE BLOCK ( may i just say, AGAIN! ) He didn’t come with us though because he was still sick and all. T.T

The activity area inside THE BLOCK was so jampacked with people because of some event going on there. It has to do with “POCARI SWEAT” something. I think it is a refreshment or a bottled water.

They were having a dance showdown of some sort. hahahahaha The dancers were awesome!

We proceeded immediately to the arcade area so Kobe , Ron and my cousin Nikki could play while me and my mom could go shopping. No, don’t get me wrong I HATE SHOPPING. I might even be the only girl who will tell you that or would even admit it but its true. I DONT LIKE IT. All the people lining up in the fitting room; People shoving each other to get that last piece of clothing that is one sale; finding the perfect design of something that you like only to find out in the end that it doesn’t fit you…Yada Yada Yada. But since my mom told me that MANGO is having a 50% discount today, i decided to tag along and told myself that i might just find something…BLAH.

There were a LOT, and i mean a LOT, of people in MANGO and the clothes were tossed here and there. It was crazy. Good thing my mom was there and helped me find pants and all that. We spent like an hour trying out the pants and other shirts ( like out of 10 things that we liked, we only got about half of them. haha ) and paid for them after.

After buying the clothes, the activity center became more crowded than usual and i saw that a lot of people were dancing or probably doing aerobics! There were like a hundred of them at least. It looked so weird, i tell you. But i think they were enjoying it so yeah, that’s cool.

While me and my mom were walking towards the ticket booth to buy tickets for the TRANSFORMERS movie, we saw this coolness advertisement from Folded and Hung. Wicked. hahaha How much did this ad cost anyway?

Upon arriving in the ticket booth, me and my mom were greeted by a LOOONNNGGG line of people. BLAH. I mean the line was still bearable and realistic but geez, the line wasn’t this long when we watched other movies in THE BLOCK. Because we wanted to watch badly, we just lined up like everyone else and we just chatted to pass the time. We didn’t buy any popcorn or whatever anymore since the line was sooo looong too! Ack! We just bought pastries in BREAD TALK to eat inside the theater. ( Gwad, try their chicken teriyaki buns…ooohhhhh….HEAVEN! )

We got the 3:40 pm screening and it was just 3:00 pm by that time so me and my mom ate pasta first in SUGARNOT!.

While waiting for the order, i went inside the resto ( me and my mom sat outside the resto because there were no more seats inside ) to talk some pictures of YUMMEH foods!

Oh my…….. *drools*

After eating, me and my mom met up with my brothers, Nikki and our maid to watch the effing Movie. Wee~

Can i just say that it was AWESOME!! I never enjoyed a robot-centered kind of movie until now!!!! Gawd…Michael Bay, you rock. To those animators too who painstakingly made the transformation sequences of the Autobots and the Decepticons possible…you have my love. hahahaha Ack! I just can’t explain very well how much i love this movie so yeah, bear with me. hihihi. Basta, TRANSFORMERS IS TEH SMEXYNESS!

There was no boring moment in the movie unlike Fantastic Four which was lagging and dragging as well. ( except Human Torch. hahaha )  Every character ( human and machine ) acted very well too. Coolness.

This is my favorite autobot in the movie alongside OPTIMUS PRIME! Bumblebee is the coolest Autobot ever! ( while Optimus Prime is the hottest autobot! haha ) If you look at the lower left of the pic, you will see a person, probably a staff of the movie. Wow, then looking at the size difference, the robot they used must be damn huge! Wooh!Just imagine their Megatron! hahaha

Ohhhh…Bumblebee’s cartoon version is no match for his movie version! He looks like a kid here. hahaha

Too bad Megatron died! T.T It’s not that i like him or something, but i like his PLAN. I mean imagine ALL THE MACHINES in the world to be like THE TRANSFORMERS? Like, imagine your ipod transforming into something and shoots lasers at your enemy or something? That would be fun! And instead of drag racing ( which young boys and young girls alike practice ), we would have ROBOT WARS and every person who has a car and wants to compete would join. All of us enthusiasts would be watching in a football-like arena while we watch robots battle each other to death. OHHH…..FUN! hahahaha

Oh my (gackt), do forgive my retarded thoughts. hahaha ^_^v

Not just that, Megatron was not even killed by OPTIMUS PRIME! That just sucks i think. I was looking forward for an all out war between the leaders of the Autobots and the Decepticons! Arghh… Oh well. hahahahaha

Anyway…..

Stayed in our Philo classroom again 45 minutes before our time because it was cold inside and there are no people inside aside from me. Compared to the library or in Mateo, I always choose to stay in our philo classroom ( because there is no class immediately before us. hihi ) to cram or just bum around.

Good thing, Gie always arrive early too so i can have someone to chat with. While i was busy flicking through the pages of our 10-page Philo reading, he kept on telling me to not study anymore since the recitation ( if ever there will be one ) will be easy anyway.

Gie: Wag ka nang mag-aral, madali lang yan.

Me: Eh madaya ka, hindi ka na kinakabahan kasi natawag ka na.

Gie: Basta kaya mo yan.

We did have a recitation and our teacher called three people or four and….*phew* i was not one of them. Sure, i knew some of the answers but there is this one question of his that i really didn’t know how to explain or even answer. My heart was pouding like crazy while Sir tolentino was calling out the names of the people for the graded recitation. Gawd….you wouldn’t believe how relieved i was when he already clipped the index cards together and set it down on the table…..THIS indicated that we were finished with the recitation for that day. *PHEW*.

During the break in the Health Sci room, we all discussed about the Postlab ( which i finished immediately after the lab session so as not to cram…lalalala ) and how many freaking significant figures is needed! Ack! Too much nerd talk is driving me nuts …Gawd…… Anywho, because of what my other blockmates said , i adjusted my results and had it printed. But i didn’t threw away my original postlab…just in case.

Sidenote: I’m so happy doing my postlab ( its not because i like doing postlabs! ) but because i just realized how EASY it was compared to my other postlabs where i always made ( at least ) 4 pages of postlab every week! And now, only a one page postlab was required ( it did not even occupy the whole page! It was like a set of datas just pasted there with our name on it!…WOW…..just, WOW….. )

Five minutes before chem class, me and my other blockmates ( Gie, Glen and Mike ) went to Sir Ian’s pigeonhole to pass our postlabs. Probably because of some divine intervention, Sir Ian emerged from nowhere and then we asked him the proper significant figures for our data. He said that there should only be something something significant figures ( i forgot what number he said ) so it meant that my original result were right! We were like

All: “E di mas tama pala yung dati nating ginawa?!”

Sir Ian: *laughing* “Ayaw nyo magka-minus sa significant figures ah. ”

Wee~ No quiz in chem for today. YEY! We just started with a new topic and I was able to answer the first seatwork ( fine it was so straightforward ) by MYSELF!. WOOH! *Shallow girl Ara. hahaha * Mam made me happy today too because we will be having a PIPAC FIELDTRIP!!!!! Beat that! We are going to PIPAC!! I can’t believe it… the only building probably that not every Atenean has been into will finally open its doors to us!! Wee~ Fine call me retarded but really that’s good news. ^__________^

After Chem, i proceeded to the Health Sci Dept to meet up with Karl since we will be going to the house to watch the film for Epi. We didn’t leave right away though, but we chatted with Sam for a while and exchanged funny *ahem*useless*ahem* quotes. Karl just had the best ones, i tell you!

“Ang pagkakaibigan parang see-saw. Pag wala ka….down ako”

Gawd…. FUNNEH! Hahahaha

At five p.m. me and karl drove back to my house in convoy style. haha. It was weird, i kept looking on my mirror to make sure that he was still behind me and he was having a hard time trying to catch up with me because of all the trucks and other cars who kept on making “singit”. LOLZ. Finally after , i think, an hour and a half, we arrived in my house.

We were inside the freaking elevator when Karl made a remark that made me laugh so hard.

Karl: Ang galing naman. “Japanese-inspired” talaga itong condominium nyo. Pati yung elevator oh!

Me: * still not getting his point*…uhmm, Chinese kaya, not Japanese!

Karl: Ahhhhh……

Me: *suspecting something weird*…bakit mo naman nasabing Japanese-inspired???

Karl: Kasi tignan mo oh, ang dilim ng elevator parang dun sa mga JAPANESE HORROR MOVIES!

Me: LOLZ!!!!

The laughtrip moments did not stop there. When we arrived at our unit, two of my little brother’s playmates ( Michael and Cedric ) saw us and said:

Michael: Kobe tignan mo oh, may kasamang BOY yung ate mo. BOYFRIEND ata niya…..

Me and Karl: ROFL. LOLZ……

Me:….kids. hahahaha

Because we were so famished after the long drive ( BOOYAH Traffic!! ), we just decided to watch the movie after we ate. Since the food was still being cooked, we just watched random shows while Kobe kept on asking Karl to play with him and all that. Hahahaha

Kobe: Kuya Karl laro tayo Chess.

Karl: Di ako magaling eh

Kobe: Diba mga Ateneans ( yep, ang conyo! ) magaling sa chess?

Karl and Me: Errrr…..

Kobe: So laro na tayo!!

Karl and Me: Ehh……..

After eatin, we immediately watched the film needed for our Epidemiology class. The copy of the film ( it was in VCD format ) was so good. Great Quality! Round of Applause for Arnel! Nice job!

At first we didn’t even know what the film was called. Hahaha. But at the start of the film, the words “And the Band Played On” flashed with the names of the actors ( Wow! So many familiar actors, like Phil Collins, Steve Martin , Ian Mckellen –> Yep the Magnetto/ Gandalf guy who plays a gay person here. haha )

The film was based on a best-selling novel by Randy Shilts that has the same name. I think he was a journalist or something during that time when he wrote the things that happened during the outbreak of AIDS and when people didn’t even know what it was or what caused it.

Just reading the introduction for this movie was WOW for me already…watching it made me even more enlightened about a lot of stuffs connected to AIDS. Gawd… a very very striking movie. I even thought at first that it was a boring documentary about AIDS but it was not. Even though it was fairly an old film, it was able to provoke the emotions from the viewer and to reflect on what might happen if a person close to us or maybe even ourselves will be on the same situation that the AIDS victims are suffering from. Ohhh….Gawd….. i pity those people…….

This was not just nerdy talk on the AIDS itself but there were a lot of underlying political issues discussed here also. Even a lot of economical struggles as well. Not only that i also learned of a LOT of controversies concerning the discovery of the “retrovirus” HIV and the sharing of the credits from its discoverers. GAH.

I don’t want to make detailed explanations about the movie, but i just LOVED IT. It was nice and no its not because i’m nerdy, the message of the movie was just nice. Very very informative. ^_^

WATCH IT! If you want a copy ( because the movie is quite oldish, i think ), i can lend you mine or burn you a copy. haha

The only thing that’s bothering me is: Why was movie ( and the novel as well ) entitled “And the Band Played on”…i just don’t get it. If you realized what it means, do tell me. ^_^ hahaha

We finished watching the movie at about 11p.m… so we were like groggy already. T.T My eyes were totally failing me and there was even a point in the movie when Karl thought that i was already sleeping because my eyes were not moving anymore and was just glued to the T.V and they were not even blinking! How fun is that?!?! That’s DEDICATION! LOLZ. Kidding. hahaha

After watching ( and after Karl left with TGZ ), i studied for CS class also and read ALL the readings because there would be a FIVE point quiz tomorrow. Boo…. T.T I can’t take it anymore…. i might not make it! BLAH. T.T

Another sidenote: I would also like to say hi to Trisha, Alvin, Maia, Darryl, Rem, Skittles ( Kirboinks ),Gie and Glen who told me that they also read my blog! Much love to you all! Wee~ Weekend finally! ^_^ Its not that I’m already experiencing hell after having survived the first week of classes as a third year college, Its just a relief. wooh.

Wait, why am i being all “happy happy joy joy” here when I will still be having classes a class tomorrow?!?! Geez…..but that’s just a three hour class anyway….did i just say “anyway”….I think sitting there doing nothing for two hours is enough to drive me nuts and definitely RESTLESS.

The philo class turned out to be quite ok and actually pushed me to reflect on somethings about my life and all that. I didn’t know that a simple question could be the root of thousands more and that it never ends, even though you search for the answer. My mind was like clogged or something since I cant even think of a proper answer if ever I was the one being asked by the teacher at that time. Its probably just the “jitters” that i get every time there is a new teacher or something. ^_^ We were asked by the teacher to read the article called “The IKS“. It was an article about these “IKS” ( nomadic people who hunts and gathers their food ), who was in a way like every people. Heartless, not compassionate, selfish, gets all happy when other people fails and others. Yes, i think that every people are a so-called “IKS” in one way or another….reading the article made me realize that. At the end of the class, me and Gie met up with Darryl and the others in the caf. It was all “boy talk” for one hour, good thing Maia was there so I could like vent out some sighs here and there since we cant relate to what they were talking about. hehe

Ohhh……chem class, AGAIN afterwards. It was just the second meeting and I’m not liking it one bit. I mean there is nothing wrong in the class, but I just don’t like it…it makes me nervous and i feel soooo stuuupppeeedd and all that. We had a review about the acids and bases from all the three different definitions. LOL. Good thing i understood it, yeah,….i just have to keep this up and I think i would be fine.

Awww, i missed Karlness. I saw him immediately after our chem class. Gawd, i haven’t seen him for just two days and i missed him. LOLERS.

I immediately drove back home after some little chat with Mike, Glen, Gie and Derrick after the chem class. Go, Toycon! ^_^

I got back home at about 6:00 pm and after eating “dinner” ( a piece of bread ) we went to The Block to watch Fantastic Four: The rise of the Silver Surfer

( Somehow, when i want to say Fantastic Four I always end up saying Final Fantasy….. now why is that? ….sttuuupppeeddd ^_^ )

I don’t want to sound like a freaking critic here , but I didn’t like it very much. Don’t get me wrong, the effects are awesome … great great great. ( But still I think Pirates of the Carribean 3 has the best effects ever! The ultimate battle in the end is just INCREDIBLE mhan! ).

So why didn’t I like it?

Its because of the sizzling hot silver surfer….

You know what, i like the guy. He’s hot and shining shimmery splendid…. but he was just a bit too “soft”, get it? I mean , i was expecting a little more evilness in him leading to more action, eh? All he did was bust some holes here and there and then WHAM….he’s knocked out from his skateboard and even had the hots ( ok sort of, since he said that Sue reminded him of his girl back in his world…. ) for one of the leading characters, the Invinsible woman. Gawd…. that’s just pathetic. I’m stressing this out, MORE ACTION PLEASE. Talking about actions, the only thing that made me “excited” is the scene where the big blob of clouds ( i didn’t know what it is, do tell me ) was about to swallow the earth. Wee~ That was cool. ^_^

So, i just finished with what i hated about the movie, now we move on to what i did like. ^_^ Oh yes, the Human Torch. THE Hot Stuff of my life. He really shined in the second installment of Fantastic Four! Wooh! HOT HOT HOT HOT…and did i just say HOT?!

Oh Gawd…..*fangirl scream*….. If i may say so, i just literally blurted out :“SHET!!! Ang hot ni Human Torch. He’s mine!” Inside the theater! Yes, it was loud and the other people heard it. hahaha. The scene with him in just a towel and his body was like “steaming” or something…. ack *fangirl scream*. hahahaa

I just don’t like his chesthair. It’s too…. hairy. Hohohohohoh ^_^

Because i was still wide awake at 11 p.m yesterday, i loaded the movie, “Be with you or Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu” in crunchyroll and watched it. This movie was an adaptation of a novel by Takuji Ichikawa ( The one who wrote the novel, Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru!! ) Honestly, my blockmate, Sam, already told me about this movie and forced told me to watch it. Being the “master of everything romantic”, i decided to give it a try a few months ago. But because of the workload, i wasn’t able to finish the movie. I even thought the movie was no good because the first part of the movie was a bit dragging and I thought that the storyline was just bland. HELL, WAS I WRONG.

 ”Magical”

I would describe this film using that word ( points above ). It literally captured me. If i raved about how good, Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru was two days ago, this one was just WAY BETTER. Tada, kimi wo Aishiteru was very very good in a lot of aspects but the ending just lacked that emotion i was looking for —> the one i felt and eventually found when I watched “Be With You“.

The death of Mio ( right ) left Takumi ( left ) and Yuji ( middle ) to fend for themselves. Holding on to the promise that his mother would come back after a year during the rainy season, Yuji waited for that moment to arrive along with his dad.

Because of the picture book that her mother left him, Yuji thinks that her mother resides in the “Akaibu star” and would eventually return to them soon. While Yuji and Takumi were looking for the “time capsule” that  Mio and Yuji hid somewhere in the forest outside their house, they saw a girl with a very great resemblance to Mio sitting alone. “Mio” lost all of her memory and doesn’t even know who they were. Takumi and Yuji were happy that “Mio” came back and just told her that while they were walking in the forest she suddenly lost her memory. Little by little, “Mio” accepts that she really is Mio and that she is the wife of Takumi and the mother of Yuji. Mio asked Takumi to tell her about how they met and eventually fell in love.

As the rainy season reaches its end, Yuji finds the “time capsule” that he and Mio hid. It contained Mio’s diary and her version of the story that explains everything…..

Gawd, i don’t want to spoil anything to anyone but the story itself was very very good and Mio’s version of the story at the very end of the movie was the most touching of all. It actually reminded me of myself and how i act towards someone that i really like. I think that it was just the sweetest thing.

Probably the greatest scene in the movie. The setting was just very nice and fit for the movie.  

If I were in Mio’s position , i would have definitely done the same with no hesitation. T.T ( BTW, it reads, –> Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu or “Right now, i’m going to meet you / be with you “ ) It tells , us, the viewers that the important thing is not the “return” of someone in your life but the time you have spent with that very special person. That’s what matters ……. true. T.T *cries*

Now for the things that i didn’t like in the movie….. :

1) The fact that the movie didn’t explain why Mio died in the first place. BLAH. I know it was not such a big deal but i still want to know if she died because of some disease or an accident…..geez… hehe . I’m not giving any spoilers here since Mio is dead at the VERY START OF THE MOVIE.

2) The ending song of it. It was sung by Orange Range which is entitled Hana ( means “flower” ). don’t get me wrong but i LOVE Orange Range and the song is NOT BAD. Its just that the song , in my opinion, was not fit for the movie. The melody was a bit upbeat and I was probably expecting a more mellow/serene one just like in Tada, kimi wo Aishiteru. ^_^

A four leaf clover. This one is an important aspect in the movie. *wink*

 I was happy while watching the movie because i could already understand some of the things that they were saying and I could read the book that Yuji was reading everytime it was flashed in the screen. Thank you, JAP CLASS!

So yeah, WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!! * hundred thousand decibels* This movie is just wonderful………..T.T Oooppsss, i forgot to tell you…..BE READY WITH THOSE TISSUES!!

Added info: This movie would be remade by Hollywood!! Wooh! Just like what they did to Il Mare. The movie , which started to film this year, i scheduled to be shown in 2009 ( Blah…2 more years. T.T ). It was reported that Jennifer Garner already signed up for the movie which would be entitled, “Be With You”. Oh Yeah, can’t wait!

I know i already made an entry for this day a few hours ago, but because of this extreme hangover from this movie that i just finished watching, i think it deserves an entry of its own.

Crying over movies seldom happens to me except when i watched “The Classic“. That must be the only movie where I LITERALLY cried. Not just typical drops of tears but a GUSH of tears for that one. I’m such a sucker for tragedy type of romantic movies. To top it off, the film also presented a very very unique storyline that i haven’t seen in any other movie before. One of these days i wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood would create a film based on it just like what they did for “Il Mare” ( The Lakehouse ).

Watching “Tada,Kimi wo Aishiteru” sort of reminded me of the sad/on the verge of crying feeling just like when I watched “The Classic”. Since im too lazy to summarize the movie , i just copied the jist from crunchyroll so you guys could read what the movie is all about.

Makoto is played by Tamaki Hiroshi of the Nodame Cantible fame and Aoi Mizaki plays Shizuru , who is well known for hre rolse as Hachi in NANA the movie. The movie is based on a novel written by Ichikawa Takuji who also wrote the novel,  Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu ( Be with you ) [ Which i will watch SOON! ].

The movie is just GREAT. Aside from it being a romantic film, it also has PHOTOGRAPHY as its theme for the movie! Because I do LIKE ( and im not saying that I’m good at it ) photography, i could relate very well with the movie. ^_^

Great great scene. I sort of cried here….it was just very emotional.

I dont want to spoil it for everyone but this is my favorite scene ( and shot by the way ) in the movie……

Don’t you think she is sooo pretty here? ( if you are wondering what she is holding, its sort of a clicker for the camera…. ) Gawd, i was crying in this scene. Go see for yourself why….

WATCH WATCH the movie!!! It even has a great theme song, Renai Shashin ( Romance/Love picture ) that was sung by AI OTSUKA! ( the girl who sung “Planetarium” for Hana Yori Dango 1! ) –> I’m listening to the theme song for the nth time now…. Ai Otsuka’s voice is just dreamy! It was really fit for the moive……

Ack, i’m still getting the goosebumps here….ULTIMATE HANGOVER….wooo……

This movie definetely deserves an 11/10 rating! Ack, i LOVE IT too much!<3
